EQ IMPACT's Coaching Philosophy
Executive Coaching is an ontological process in which an experienced, objective and highly competent outsider partners with an executive along the journey between the current reality and the intended outcomes. Together they reflect on experiences, observe behaviour, thinking and feelings, make sense of situations and challenges - and explore options in a safe, non-judgmental environment. It is a skillful methodology for developing themselves and others so that they are more competent, confident and fulfilled. The process focuses on future opportunities and does not dwell on past problems.
Coaching is about building an individual's ability to observe and select appropriate action, so that they become the creators of their own development strategies. This leads to sustained empowerment, ownership and personal development.
